Book online this unique one-day trip from Kotor to Lake Skadar for 8 to 10 hours. You can book up to 24 hours in advance and choose one of our vehicles that matches the number of passengers. To book this one-day excursion, select a date and fill out the booking form on this page. You will receive confirmation immediately within the next few minutes. For larger groups of tourists, it is possible to organize a boat tour and a tour of several islands on the lake. The price of the excursion does not include a ticket to the Skadar Lake National Park or a boat tour.
Description Skadar Lake Kotor Tour
At 8 o'clock we meet in front of the walls of the Old Town in Kotor and head towards the destination by car, van or bus according to the client's wishes towards Lake Skadar, which is located in the central part of Montenegro. We drive along the Montenegrin coast past Budva and St. Stefan, where we take a break for a few selfies along the way.
After an hour and a half drive, we arrive in Virpazar, a small town on the shore of the lake, where we will learn all about this beautiful and unique national park. Lake Skadar National Park is considered one of the most important natural habitats in Europe and numerous bird species, about 320, are its permanent residents. Numerous islands on the lake are home to very rare birds, as well as many monasteries inhabited by monks in the Middle Ages.
You will have a few hours of free time that you can spend in Virpazar if you wish, you can enjoy a boat trip on Skadar Lake, or go to one of the local restaurants that prepare local food and local specialties. Or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding area.
At the end of this one-day tour, we return to Kotor, where we started around 4 p.m.
